Many people know him as the singer with a lady like voice. He came to prominence with his track Mama Brenda. In 2004 he won a Pearl of Africa Music Award under the category of new upcoming musician. This makes him the youngest musician in the Ugandan Music Industry to win a national music award at the age of 22. His name is Moses Sserwada but he is popularly known as Sweet Kid.

Sweet Kid is a studio owner. He has been the owner of D Records since July 2009. Not that the purchase did not come with an element of drama. At one point, Sweet Kid was almost dragged to Police because the father of his former favoured producer Allan Okia felt that Sweet Kid was trying to cheat his son out of his hard earned studio.
